These terms apply to orders placed with Pelaris Editions at this website. Pelaris Editions is an online retailer based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Warranty

We add no warranty of our own on top of what a product carries. A warranty stated on a product page applies per its terms; Pelaris Editions does not extend or replace it.

Placing an order

Completing checkout places an offer. Our confirmation email is the acceptance. If we then find the item is not available, you be contacted by us and get a full refund – the Cancellation policy covers the timing.

Product information

Each listing is written from what we can actually confirm about that notebook. If a measurement or material is missing from a product page, that is deliberate – an unconfirmed spec is left out rather than guessed at. Photographs are representative, and colour renders differently screen to screen. Unsure whether something fits your use? Pricing

All figures are in Indian Rupees and subject to change. Your order is governed by the price shown at confirmation. Where a listing is plainly mispriced we reach us before dispatching rather than fulfilling at an incorrect figure.

Payment

UPI and Cash on Delivery only. We do not accept cards. Details on the Payment policy.

Delivery

Estimates, charges and the free-delivery threshold are on the Shipping policy. Delivery timelines are estimates, not guaranteed dates.

Returns

Window, condition and refund timelines are on the Return and refund policy. Pelaris Editions does not offer a direct exchange.

Tax and invoicing

Tax status, stated plainly: not registered for GST. Turnover is below the applicable GST registration threshold and registration is therefore not applicable to the business at this time. Nothing for GST is charged separately on your order, and no GST tax invoice bearing a GSTIN can be issued. Product page price is the price of the goods; delivery charges appear before checkout is completed.

Paper specification

Where a listing states GSM, page count or ruling, that comes from the supplier specification. Where it does not, the information is not confirmed and is left off rather than estimated.

Use of this website

Text, photographs and layout on this site belong to Pelaris Editions or are used with permission. Please do not copy them for commercial use. Do not attempt to disrupt the site or place fraudulent orders.

Liability

These terms do not – and cannot – remove consumer rights that Indian law does not allow to be excluded. Subject to that, and where the law permits it, liability on a product-related claim is capped at the amount you paid for the product concerned.

Governing law

The governing law is that of India – including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act 2000) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP 2023). Subject to mandatory consumer rights and applicable jurisdiction rules, courts in Indore, Madhya Pradesh have jurisdiction.

Orders should be placed by someone aged 18 or over, or with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Stock availability

Stock shown on a product page is the best figure we have at the time the page loads. From time to time an item sells through before an order is picked; if that happens we contact you and refund in full.
